High-Level Disinfection is the process of the complete elimination of all microorganisms on devices, objects and surfaces except for small numbers of bacterial spores. High-level Disinfection eliminates bacteria, viruses and fungi.
High-level disinfectants include registered disinfectant products that have qualified for use against COVID-19 through the EPA’s Emerging Viral Pathogen program. They appear on the EPA’s List N and Health Canada’s list of hard-surface disinfectants with evidence against COVID-19.
Ensure your disinfectant is on the EPA N List and/or the Health Canada approved list for disinfectants that will fight COVID-19.
